Destination

We travelfor the season.

Sixty weddings a year happen somewhere other than the studio. The light changes, the humidity changes, the standard does not.

  • A bride on the steps of a painted haveli, veil trailing down

    01Rajasthan

    Udaipur

Lake light bounces up off the water, so everything needs to be built a half-step cooler than it looks in the room.

  • An ornate haveli doorway, the bride small against it

    02Rajasthan

    Jaipur

Pink sandstone throws warmth onto every face standing near it. Beautiful in photographs, ruinous for a base matched indoors.

  • The length of the veranda, lantern above, the bride at the far end

    03Rajasthan

    Jodhpur

Indigo walls do the opposite, and cool the skin. The correction is the whole job.

  • The open courtyard under a wide sky

    04Konkan

    Goa

Ninety percent humidity and a beach ceremony at six. Everything is chosen for wear before it is chosen for colour.

Also this season: Rishikesh, Kerala, Jaisalmer, Dubai, Bali.

What they say

“I had spent two years being told what would suit me. Harsh was the first person who asked what I actually wanted to look like, and then made me look like that.”

Aditi R.Bride, Udaipur 2025

“Fourteen hours, three outfit changes, and a sangeet in forty degrees. It did not move. I still don't understand how.”

Simran K.Bride, Vadodara 2025

“My mother cried, which she had explicitly promised not to do. That is the review.”

Fatima S.Bride, Jaipur 2024

“They did my sister four years ago. I booked before I had a venue, a date, or a dress.”
