The fullportfolio.
One sitting, seven looks, shot across a day at a painted haveli. Grouped the way the day ran rather than by category, because the light is the thing that changes and the light is chronological.

01
The red lehenga
Haveli, morning
A sleek bun, a rose at the ear, and a rose-pink lid built to survive a flash.

02
Emerald
The painted rooms
The longest look of the day. Kundan and emerald against a hand-painted wall, waved out rather than set.

03
The front steps
The facade
Shot straight on, at the one hour the sandstone stops throwing warmth back onto the face.

04
Maroon
The turquoise veranda
A smoked eye against green drops. The railing cools the skin, so the base was built a half-step warmer.

05
Champagne
The courtyard
The quietest look. Pearl, a bare lid, and nothing on the skin that the daylight could catch.

06
Silver
Last light
Slicked back and bronzed, for the half hour between the courtyard and the dark.

07
Gold
The night garden
Lit from one side, after dark. Everything here was chosen for how it reads at ISO 3200.
